We hired Kim to help us choose colours for the renovation of our main floor. She also picked out backsplash tile , wallpaper and faux finishing for a foyer ceiling. It was great to have Kim steer us in the right direction for choices in a quick and efficient manner. Choosing wallpaper was quite overwhelming but Kim knew what would look good and we took her advice and the result is stunning. Without Kim we would probably be still trying to decide!
Kim organized all the contractors and everything was completed on time .
The result is a beautiful , bright and fresh new space .

Kim was super easy to work with. She showed an incredible eye for detail from the beginning to the end of the project. We were not pushed into any decision and she was a good listener. We love our kitchen and have received many compliments. The kitchen feels like our kitchen not Kim’s kitchen

We have had the pleasure of working with Kim on several jobs in the Calgary area. Not only does she have a real eye for design, she is an excellent organizer. Kim will bring in her trades and have a job completed on time and on budget.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kim on many projects over the years. Talk about talent!! Kim is not only a designer, she also brings in the trades, she has lots of experience as a general contractor. This lady is so gifted and has an eye for color, she is able to walk into any room, see something spectacular that was not there before! AND bring her visions to life!! My company supply stone countertops for many home builders and contractors and Kim has to be one of my absolute favorites to work with! She never ceases to blow my mind with her designs (I’ve seen many of her projects the before and after, what a transformation!!) Kim makes the process easy for me by being on top of things, she’s very communicative, extremely knowledgeable, Kim plans ahead (in this industry, planning ahead is crucial to the success of any projects!!) and is exceptionally organized and meticulous with every aspect of the renovation. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone, there is not a doubt in my mind that the finished product will exceed your expectations!!

Kim came to our attention through the interior decorator we hired. We had solicited quotes for a kitchen and bath renovation along with options for replacement/painting of our original gold oak trim from several contractors. Most quotes were reasonable and covered our scope adequately but we could tell there was an aspect to the project that was going to fall short. We just could not put our finger on it until we hired Karen Fron to help us solidify the interior design. We were so impressed with her attention to both flow and function that we asked if she had a favourite contractor. Enter Kim Cameron. Kim was organized, honest, on budget, and on time. Bonus, she is a decorator too! Kim handled the trades flawlessly. No portion of the job was ever more than a week out from her initial job timeline. Demolition started on June 27th per her schedule and we moved back in on September 2nd just a few days after her expected completion date of August 31st. There were finishing touches that took a couple of weeks to organize and complete but she kept it easy for us to manage. We have no reservations saying that Kim will be the first person we will contact for any future renovations we take on.

As a result of a positive reference from a family member, we asked Kim from Creative Home Decorating to help us with our new build in London, Ontario. Kim helped us remotely, by email and phone, and we met while I happened to be in Calgary. She was wonderful to work with and always accommodated our deadlines and schedules.

She helped us with our lighting plan and fixture selection, helped selected our master ensuite flooring and wall tile, all from afar. She reviewed all our floor plans, cabinetry, and walk-in closet designs, and gave us really helpful suggestions that we were able to incorporate.

Kim is very positive and friendly, and most importantly, she really listened to our vision and gave us recommendations that fit within our taste. She is also highly knowledgeable about the practical aspects of building a home. I highly recommend working with Kim!

I had the pleasure of working with Kim at Creative Home Decorating on a new high end build in Calgary. Kim helped us with all of our finishes and selections, from paint colours, flooring, tile, countertops and cabinets, she really brought the project together. She was really fun to work with and was very invested in the outcome of the project. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a great designer.

Creative Home Decorating is simply excellent! We hired Creative Home Decorating to design our kitchen renovation, choose a paint colour for the interior of our home, wall paper the dining room, design our boys’ bedrooms and some misc items. They worked with us to find the look that we were drawn to and then turned that into an overall vision that guided the decision making. We then developed a detailed budget, and they were bang on, both in terms of monetary items and also the timing to complete the project (total of 6 weeks including floors being refinished). I was impressed by Kim’s passion and excitement for what she wanted to do with the project. This resulted in some unique touches to the project and a “wow” factor for our kitchen. She truly seems to love what she does and it was fun working together. I also really appreciated them narrowing the number of choices on the various items so we weren’t overwhelmed by the multitude of options and “shiny objects”. We typically received three selections that all worked really well. They would share with us their top choice and why, but the final decision was always ours. This was an efficient use of our time and we were confident in our decisions. Most importantly, we were absolutely thrilled with the result and feel we have made our home truly our own.

I hired Kim to help me spruce up my front room, as it is the first room you see when you enter my house. She helped me to choose a paint colour for the whole house and we love it. Kim also showed me her plans in transforming my front room to bring into this century. She also helped mu husband and I choose furniture pieces that will be in style for years to come. Again, we love them. Kim is very professional, she listens to our ideas and then takes it up a notch to make them even more appealing. I love her decorating ideas, colour schemes and furniture placement plans. I will most definitely be using her services again to finish our room and help with other rooms in our house. Thank you, Kim!

Kim and her team did a fantastic job on my “Pretty Kitchen Makeover”. She took my outdated 80’s kitchen and gave me a clean, fresh, updated kitchen that I love to spend time in. When we first called Kim, we had a few ideas of what we wanted changed, but she came back with a complete plan with options.

She respected our budget – giving us options and working with us to find the best areas to splurge. It was a good mix of how much to include us in the shopping and decision making. After a couple of shopping trips to find the “big stuff”, I asked Kim to do the shopping. She went off and came back with options to choose from. Rather than replacing the old builder’s doors, they added molding and painted them – they look like new doors, but at a fraction of the cost – something I wouldn’t have thought of.

From start to finish the entire job took only 6 weeks. We painted the ceilings and walls and replaced the baseboards in the whole main floor and in the kitchen we replaced the lighting, added crown molding, changed out a couple of cabinets, painted the cabinets, replaced the countertops and backsplash and floors. So that is FAST!

The team were all friendly and respectful of our time and the fact that we didn’t move out. The even made friends with our little dog who was left at home some of the time.

I am already looking forward to our next project together.

We recently completed some home Reno’s with Creative Interiors and were very pleased. The work was completed ahead of time and on budget. Kim was very easy to work with, had practical ideas and a great color sense. In addition to the construction Kim also aided in furniture selection and sourcing, which made the whole process much easier to manage. Would definitely recommend Kim!
