MY SAD, SAD MASTER BEDROOM
Ok, so as an interior designer, I spend a lot of time and energy creating beautiful spaces for my clients, but, sorry to say, my own home is not exactly a showpiece. In fact, it is tired and in desperate need of a makeover…oh yeah, I’m an interior designer, I know how to do that! Now that I have some time on my hands, I’ve decided to makeover my sad, sad, master bedroom. But I have some challenges, #1 Budget – definitely do not want to be spending a lot of money with all of this uncertainty. #2 Shopping – I have no where to go, like literally no where, soooo, online it is. Ok, so I ordered a few things on Wayfair and am waiting for delivery, but in the meantime, I have been working on…you guessed it, painting my furniture. I wanted to lighten up the furniture and give it a “french chateau” kinda feel. Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think. I used chalk paint in Parisian Grey, applied two coats of paint, one coat of wax and then some sandpaper for distressing. Stay tuned…
