IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS
This project is almost done, we have installed the countertops, carpet, tile and finished painting & spraying. The tile in this project is centre stage and has really added a “WOW” factor. Our tile installer has done an amazing job and it couldn’t be prettier. The new countertops compliment the tile perfectly. We have installed wall, floor and shower tile in the master bath and a beautiful marble look tile in the kitchen. Along with the tile, all of our beautiful new light fixtures have arrived and they add such a sparkle to the space. And don’t forget hardware and plumbing fixtures…so many beautiful things, you’ll get to see everything on our next “Final Results” post. It really is “all in the details”… take a look.
As always, take a look at the bottom of the post for some T&T (Tips & Tricks)
Ok, I couldn’t help but give you a sneak peek at this beautiful corner tub and look at the view, so amazing. You can also see the new wall tile and our gorgeous light fixture.
Here you can see the wall tile is installed as well as the floor, our drain for our tub is in place and ready to go.
This is the vanity area of the master bath, just to the right of the tub. You can see our countertop is installed but we still need doors and a faucet. Also, take a look at the new floor tile…so pretty.
Moving to the opposite side of the master bath, you can see our beautiful steam shower taking shape.
Here the guys are working on the new quartz bench in the shower, doesn’t it look great.
Take a look at the detail on this shower niche, this tile is on the floor as well.
Here we are installing our gorgeous pendants in the kitchen. They have an amazing gold tinted glass and a traditional profile…so pretty.
Great close up of our pendants.
Take a look at the marble look backsplash and how great does it look with our new quartz countertops.
Here is a close up of our carpet in the master bedroom and the tile in the master bath.
A great close up of our dining room fixture.
T&T (Tips & Tricks)
T&T – Think of your light fixtures as jewellery, or icing on the cake, spend the money on the main fixtures and make sure you absolutely love them. For all the rest, you can purchase really pretty fixtures at the big box stores and get a great result. Mixing high and low will get the sparkle you are after.
T&T – When installing tile, make sure you take the thickness of the tile into account when planning. If you are mixing tile and quartz for instance, they are very different thicknesses, so make sure you plan your “base” accordingly. A good tile installer can help you with that.
Let’s work together…
