Lighting is like jewellery to a simple black dress. It can add drama, personality, elegance and every other feeling to a room. In this project we went with beaded fixtures and natural materials to give a feeling of casual elegance and to invoke a comfortable welcoming home. There were about 14 fixtures we needed for all the spaces so finding fixtures and ensuring they work together is a big task. The electricians had their work cut out for them in this project, it took a great deal of time just to put the fixtures together, so make sure if you have complicated lighting that you allow enough time for the electricians and of course put that in your budget. Here are just a couple of fixtures, there are lots more to come.
